Looking for a Support Service 24/7? Part Two
What Are the Different Kinds of Desktop Computer Repair Support?
Some companies have started to offer computer support via the Internet, often known as web based or Internet support. This involves a customer sitting in front of their computer and talking to the customer service specialist using a web based chat program. The specialist will offer information and help similar to support given over the phone but could also use other methods too. Some manufacturers use remote desktop computer support by which a specialist will access the system on a computer of their customer over the Internet in order to run scans and troubleshoot issues remotely.
Personal computer support consists of help provided directly by a person that connects to a desktop computer. This happens when a service specialist visits the home of a customer or a customer brings their computer to them. While small problems can be resolved over the phone or Internet, hardware and software issues will need personal support in order for an effective solution to be reached.
